Students Ministry Overview
News and Events

It’s a new year in Student Ministry! We are so excited
to see what God is going to be doing in the lives of our
students this year. Our next big event will be Disciple Now
weekend in March. The dates are March 2nd-4th, and the cost
is $35 per student. This is a great time for our students to hang
out with students from several different churches. We will be
having a dodge-ball tournament again this year, and we will
also be participating in a service project during the day on
Saturday. Students will be challenged from God’s word to
stand up for Jesus Christ and live for Him everyday. This event
is open to all middle and high school students (6th-12th grade).

I want to encourage you to come and be apart of
Sunday School this month. We are currently making our way
through the book of Acts, and it is awesome! The focus of our
study is Biblical Community. What is community? Why is it
important? How did the early church function? All of these
questions and many, many more are detailed in this great
study. Please join us @ 9:15am on Sunday morning in the
Student Center below the Fellowship Hall. See you soon!

Love you guys,
P.J.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES

January, here are the dates:

Monday, January 16th 1:00 – 4:00pm @ Harmony Leland
(Packing*)

Tuesday, January 17th 3:45 – 5:30pm @ Harmony Leland
(Distribution*)

Wednesday, January 18th 3:45 – 5:30pm @ Pebblebrook
High School (Distribution*)

*NOTE*
I just wanted to give some more information about each day.

Workday: On these days, all of the food that has been
collected for the week will be sifted through and sorted and
placed on the shelves in the correct places. It is kind of like
stocking shelves at the grocery store. All of the expiration
dates will be checked on all items and the UPC (barcodes)
codes will be marked out with a sharpie marker.

Packing: On these days, you will take the items from the
shelves and place them inside the reusable bags set aside
for each family. Each family’s bags will be set aside for
distribution.

Distribution: On these days, you will take the bags from the
pantry and give them to the families. The families will come
and pick up at the school, and you have the opportunity to
meet families first hand.

I hope this gives a little more info about what each day
looks like. If you need anymore info please email me at

Overview

Mt. Harmony offers a wide variety of activities for Middle and High School students (Grades 6 -12) and College students in the Students Ministry.   Our goal is to develop Christian Youth into Christian leaders, who with bold intent, seek to establish the Kingdom of God by changing the World for Christ.

We seek to help today's youth see that they can have a close personal relationship with God while they progress through their school years.   We offer many ways to accomplish this goal in a fun and supporting environment with our Sunday Bible classes, music/drama, VBS, Summer Camp, mission events and trips, fellowships, seasonal celebrations, sports activities, and outings.   To learn more about our programs use the horizontal navigation bars above or click on one of the links below:
