Each year during the summer, High School Students and Young Adults go on a mission trip. For the past several years, we have teamed up with World Changers and Habitat for Humanity and the International Mission Board to go to New Orleans where the team literally built homes and performed other important mission related work in the city severely damaged by a major hurricane. 

In previous years, the mission trip has been to Puerto Rica and in our own back yard – Atlanta.  In 2008, we teamed up with Words to Works Ministries and took a trip down to Jacksonville, Florida to work with North Main Street Baptist Church.  To learn more about Words to Works Ministries, please visit their website at www.wordstoworks.com or call Jason at the church office.

The Students are also active in helping with a range of service oriented activities. These range from Helping Hands to helping Mt. Harmony Senior Adults with projects around their house.
