Mt. Harmony Baptist Church is excited about our Upward Program and we look forward to having your children join us this Winter as we add Basketball and Cheerleading.  Practices begin the week of November 17 and the first game will be held on December 13.  The season consists of 8 games which will be played on Saturday with breaks for the week of Christmas and New Years.     

Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K4 through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child.   The purpose of Upward is to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports.

Evaluations, orientations, practices and games will be held at the Lindley Middle School Gym.  Lindley is located at 50 Veterans Memorial Hwy, SE (approximately 1/2 mile from Mt. Harmony Baptist Church on the same side of the road).

Registration begins Wednesday, October 1 and ends on November 30.  Early registration has passed so the cost to register is now $110 per child.   

We are pleased to announce that we have now added the ability to register on-line.  When you click on the link, you will be taken to the "Blue Sombrero" website where you can complete the registration process.  Blue Sombrero is approved by Upward Unlimited and is hosting our on-line registration process.  You will be able to register and pay the league fees by credit card (Visa, M/C, and Amex are accepted). 

Although we prefer that you register on-line, you can pick up a registration form at MHBC during regular church hours (M-Th 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and submit along with your payment (cash or check).  

All basketball players MUST attend one of the evaluation sessions that will be held on Tuesday, October 28 (6:30 - 8:30 PM) or Thursday, November 6 (6:30 - 8:30 PM).     Cheerleaders MUST attend one of the two orientations which will be held on the same days and times as the basketball evaluations. 

Evaluations and orientation will occur at the Lindley Middle School Gym.
