Preschool and Children Choirs

Music presents wonderful opportunities for praise, worship, and Bible teaching.  In addition, we know God is pleased when children praise Him through music:  "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise (Psalm 8:2).

Mt. Harmony has two Children's Choirs which offer instruction in music fundamentals.  Both choirs sing in worship services throughout the year.  The Preschool Choir is for ages 3 – 5. The Children's Choir is for 1st -- 5th Grades.

Choir practice is on Wednesday from 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. beginning August 17th.

Awana

Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”. It is
a fun and exciting program that helps churches and parents work
together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow
Jesus Christ.

Awana has gotten off to a great start at Mt. Harmony! We have
almost 50 children participating each week. It is still not too late to
get your children, grandchildren, and neighbors involved. From
Puggles to T&T, ages 2 through 5th grade, we welcome new
children throughout the year. Awana follows the Cobb County
Schools’ schedule and runs from 6:30-8:00 on Wednesday
evenings.

Here is a brief description of each Awana Club:

Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2 and 3 year olds by
introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to
teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana
club just like their older siblings.

Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3  to 5 year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids (K-2nd
graders) to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building
a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

T&T engages third-through fifth-graders by answering their
questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this
pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.
