Located in Mableton, Georgia, Mt. Harmony Baptist Church is appropriately named as we are truly a friendly, harmonious church. The people love Jesus and each other and demonstrate their love often. Founded in 1871 as a small country church, the church has grown steadily over the years and now includes over 1,600 members with many 2nd and even 3rd generation families actively attending.
Mt. Harmony Baptist Church is a traditional Southern Baptist Church. We give generously to the Lord's work through our Southern Baptist agencies and we hold membership in both the West Metro Baptist Association and the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Mt. Harmony is a congregation of baptized believers in Christ, united by covenant for the worship of Almighty God, and associated in the faith and the fellowship of the gospel to practice its precepts, to recognize and receive Jesus Christ as their supreme Law-Giver and Ruler, and to take the Bible, and the Bible alone, as the standard by which all matters of belief and conduct are to be tried.
